get quiet: yoga & meditation retreat in the berkshires
with julianna february 7-9, 2014
the new year provides all kind of energy for renewal and introspection.
has it been a while since you've made real quality, quiet time for yourself (and i mean more than a few hours) where you slowed down enough to connect with stillness, wisdom, grace....love....and not just the idea of these things but the feeling of them?
this retreat will focus on the healing practices of slowing down and being quiet: mindful vinyasa and restorative yoga classes, meditation, reading, writing, time to be alone and consciously with others, and nourishing home cooked vegetarian meals. the majority of the weekend is held in silence, a rare opportunity in our constantly busy lives. there is also opportunities for heartfelt conversation if so desired, with me or your peers. we'll be staying at the serene shaker mill inn nestled between a gentle waterfall and the majestic berkshire mountains (which at this time of year are cloaked in their own special blanket of quiet) 3 hours by train, bus or car from nyc.
an experience of renewal is much different than the memory of one and has the power to infuse your life with calm well after the retreat is over. feel the difference between taking care of others from a place of exhaustion vs. truly taking care of yourself...so that your everyday responsibilities and relationships are nurtured automatically through your own well being. come sit by the fireplace, take a walk in nature. allow yourself be taken care of. but most importantly, come take care of yourself.
early bird registration $275 by january 5th, $325 after.
price includes everything except transportation. retreat begins friday evening (optional yoga class at 4:30, dinner @ 6:30, opening session 8 pm) and ends sunday after lunch.
space is limited. register early (this retreat sold out quickly last year).
