Caroline first fell in love with yoga while studying art history in graduate school. After many years as an occasional student, a lengthy hospital stay inspired her to begin a daily practice, which ultimately led to teaching. She received her 200-hour teacher training in 2016 from Barbara Verrochi and Kristin Leigh at the Shala Yoga House in New York City. That same year, she also completed Leslie Kaminoff’s year-long yoga anatomy & breath clinic. In 2017, she received her certification in Restorative Yoga from Judith Lasater. As a continuation of her interest in mind/body harmony, she is currently studying acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Caroline believes in the transformational power of yoga and has experienced firsthand its ability to rewire negative thinking and promote an open mind/body experience. Her classes are rooted in ashtanga-based vinyasa and will use the power of physical exertion, breath control, music, and meditation to achieve a balance in body and spirit to leave you physically and mentally restored. Caroline lives in Brooklyn, NY and is inspired everyday by her many teachers, including her husband and dog. She is ever grateful for the small moments in life.
