paul started practicing yoga over 10 years ago. a fitness buff his whole life, he initially tried yoga out of boredom with gym workouts, but after one of his first yoga classes, standing on a street corner waiting for the light to change, his attention was strangely drawn to the ground beneath his feet, and he understood this as a spiritual shift, as yoga. as a teacher he strives to pass on to students what has been given to him in his practice, the movement from distraction to attention. last year, he completed the 200-hour teacher training with barbara verrochi and kristin leigh at the shala, and has continued with a mentorship program, studying under kristin. he is grateful for the guidance he continues to receive through these great teachers.
