Love yourself. Then forget it. Then, love the world. — Mary Oliver

Dear Shala Community,
We’re moving into March like a lion with some schedule tweaks and exciting new offerings!

To help us through the transition from winter to spring, Maria Rubinate is teaching two more classes in her Spring Ayurvedic series. These sessions include guidance for seasonally appropriate practices around movement, eating, sleeping, asana, pranayama, and self-care (more information and link to register below).
Our dearest Domenick will be taking a break from teaching on Saturday mornings. After leading his uniquely joyful and ecstatic class for the past decade while also working full-time as a social worker, we are so glad he will be able to properly enjoy his weekends. You can still see Domenick on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm (we’ll make these classes an on-demand option), as well as for special teaching and kirtan appearances. We love you, Domenick, and we’ll miss your special Saturday morning vibe! The amazing Jenny Campbell has moved into the 10:30am spot—thank you, Jenny! And in other weekend class news, the lovely Carlotta returns with a Sunday morning All Levels Vinyasa, 8-9am. (More new class updates below.)
Our inaugural Buddhist Studies program begins TONIGHT! Wednesday, March 3, at 6:30pm. We are so excited to take a deeper dive into the dharma with you. Please read on for additional information, including suggested readings for the first month.
Lots of love,
Kristin + Barbara
